Taxonomy and Biosystematics Journal (TBJ), an official publication of the University of Isfahan, is an open access, online-only, peer-reviewed journal that considers scientific papers in all different subdisciplines of plant biology, such as descriptions of taxa, nomenclatural review, classification of taxa, introduction of new methods for data development and analysis, gene ecology, population genetics, genetic diversity, biodiversity and phylogenetic studies.

TBJ publishes original articles derived from original research work and brief reports. From a multidisciplinary perspective, this journal will provide a platform for publication, information and debate, encompassing all areas which fall within the scope of plant science.
