Guide for Authors
Taxonomy and Biosystematics publishes original research articles in the fields of plant and animal taxonomy, systematics, biodiversity, phylogenetics, population genetics, and related disciplines.
Manuscripts must be original and not published or under consideration elsewhere. Submission of a manuscript means that all authors agree to its submission and publication.
Taxonomy and Biosystematics is an open access journal. All accepted articles are published online and are freely available to readers.
There are no submission fees or article processing charges.

Line spacing: Single
Please keep formatting simple and consistent.
The manuscript should be arranged in the following order:
Title
Abstract (maximum 300 words)
Keywords (maximum 6 words)
Introduction
Materials and Methods
Results
Discussion
Conclusion (optional)
Acknowledgements (if applicable)
References
Please upload the following files:
Main manuscript file (without author names or affiliations, for double-blind review)
Title page (including full author names, affiliations, and corresponding author details)
Conflict of interest statement
Copyright transfer form (signed)
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal website.
Use the author–date citation style in the text.
The reference list must be arranged alphabetically by the first author’s surname.
Include complete information for each reference, such as authors, year, title, journal name (in full), volume, page range or article number, and DOI if available.
For detailed formatting, please follow the style used in the most recent issues of the journal.
Make sure all cited references appear in the reference list.
Place tables and figures in their appropriate positions within the text, close to where they are first mentioned. Please do not place them at the end of the manuscript.
Number tables and figures consecutively.
Provide clear and concise captions.
Figures should also be uploaded as separate high-quality files (minimum 300 dpi).
All manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process.
All submissions may be checked for plagiarism.
If revision is requested, please submit a revised version together with a response letter explaining how reviewer comments were addressed.
Revised manuscripts should be returned within two months.
Authors are responsible for the scientific accuracy of their work.
Funding sources should be clearly acknowledged where applicable.
The journal reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit submitted manuscripts.
